Gina blinked. She was surprised she could have forgotten this girl, that wasn't like her at all...

"Really? I'm surprised I would have forgotten someone like you."

She looked the other girl up and down, making note of her features. She seemed to be a little on the small side, but other then that Gina liked the look of her. Though she could definitely use some cuter clothes...

"Wait, did you have your hair cut short hair back then?" she asked, remembering a girl she's seen in the medical ward a few times.

"Yeah, didn't it look awful? But I definately remember now, weren't you the girl who pulled terrorist's arm off when he said your shoes were last season?"

She waited a few seconds, then laughed at Gina's bemusement,

"Joke, joke, nobody ever did that, but I do remember you, are you staying here long term? Oh yeah, my name's Brigida."

The red jacketed girl put down one of the instrument cases she was carrying and extended a hand.

"Gina," she replied, then added, "and for the record, my shoes are last season."

"That is because your handler is cheap," Danjette said with a playful smile as she came down the steps. She'd dropped the basket to see and noticed her comrade from Rome standing at the bottom.

"André might not be as loaded as that one fella, but he does at least spend enough to keep me in the current fashions," she added, kicking up with her right leg to show her new dark brown Chloé flat knee-high leather boot. In doing so, she unbalanced herself and almost went flying forward, a quick catch thanks to her lightning reflexes saving her.

Gina smirked at Danjette`s near mishap.

"Careful there, honey,`` she advised the other girl.

"At least it wasn't on a mission," Danjette said. She reached the bottom and put down the basket.

"Welcome to Milan," she said, putting out her hand.

Gina shook hands with Danjette.

"Thank you. I don't know how long I'll be staying, but I hope it'll be a few days at least. It's been a while since I last saw you."

She grinned mischieviously.

"Besides which, I want a good chance to check out the new girls. See if they're all as cute as this one here is," she noted, subtly indicating Brigida as she did so.

Danjette resisted performing a face-palm and merely slowly nodded her head.

"Wha...cute? Ha ha." Brigida laughed awkwardly, something in Gina's manner slightly getting her hackles up. "Say, you two know each other well?"

"Yes, we both served in the Rome branch," Danjette replied.

Gina winked at Brigida.

"Yes, we know each other very well," she declared, putting as much implication and suggestion into her words as possible.

Danjette tried to not go red, but as pale as she was, it didn't work.

Oh cr*p, I was right! And Danjette's one too! I could probably hold off the new girl, but not both of them at once...where's a big knife when a girl needs one?

"Well, that's...neat. What were you doing right now?" She managed, going possibly even redder than she was already.

"Well I was on my way to the laundry. Which I really should be getting to," Danjette noted. She picked up her basket and walked past, steering well clear of Gina which, by extension, placed her close to Brigida as she passed them.

"And I should be going up to find my room. See you later, honey."

Gina blew Danjette a kiss in rather showy fashion as the other girl made her exit.

Brigida experienced a strong impluse to grad hold of Danjette and beg the girl not to leave her; but ended up restricting herself to a desperate and pleading look.

Calm, calm, just because she's like this doesn't mean she's going to hold you down and....okay, not calm. And due to your mood from firearms practice, not defensive either.

"I see you two really are good friends," she commented sarcastically to Gina, "It must be all be down to your manner."

Danjette unconsciously shivered at Gina's parting words and action. She willed herself not to run down the hallway as she headed for the Laundry.

Contrary to what Brigida might have expected, Gina responded with a mysterious smile.

"People's faces have a tendency to get stuck in whatever expression they wear most often," she advised the other girl, "And I think you'd look much cuter with a smile on yours."

She then walked over to where she'd left her instrument case, picked it up, and started towards the stairs.

"See you later," she called back over her shoulder as she departed.

"We'll see about that." Ugh, lame comeback, Brigida thought, retreating in the opposite direction, and fighting to calm her breathing.

What business does she have, being that self-assured? As if I could ever smile with someone like that around...she clearly doesn't give a t#ss about anyone else's feelings! I'm definately not going to smile any more than I do already!

Brigida found herself heading outside, in the hope of running off some of her tension.
