Long Range Non-Lethality

Post by Kiskaloo on Thu 30 Oct 2008 - 17:15

Just saw this on the latest episode of "Time Warp" on the Discovery Channel.

For those times Section 2 wants to take prisoners...

Of course I also collect maid figurines, I play games which feature maids and it turns me on so much that I'll wear the maid uniforms and jump in joy.

Aight i watched it and i gotta say its awesome that we finnaly get to see some good shots of that the crimainal public needs to be aware of what they got coming to them but then again a whole bunch of citizens are gonna be whining about how people might(might .....just might not will!) Die from being tazered.

Also that Neon tube expiriment they showed was one of the coolest things done ever with a tazer.

Another less lethal but long range weapon, would be a dart gun loaded with sedative.
or lets try a bean bag shotgun or 40mm less lethal slug.

they exist but i'm not sure if you could call them less lethal, they are made by Aguila IQ they are HP rounds with a very deep crosscut on them, they are also very light resulting in high muzzle velocities 1400fps for a .45,apparently they can pentrate body armour at short range,

on a side note whilst looking up the ammo i found this webpage about Aluminium glass resistant to .50 bmg rounds !

"Transparent Aluminum" - guess it took that place in San Francisco 20 years to figure out how to make Mr. Scott's formula work. Wink
