You need to use the "youtube" tag ( so [youtube] [/youtube] ). In between those two tags, you enter the text that is listed in the "Embed" field on the Youtube page which hosts the video you want to embed in your reply.

I don't think you need the youtube tags... I think just copying and pasting the embed tag works

Yeah, I just tried it, and it works just fine without the [youtube]

There is also the Pitcher Plant (which drowns them in collected rainwater) and I believe it's called the Honeydew - it has flexible spines with a sticky resin on the tip to snare insects.

How much can you sell a TV show for?

This would be to various countries, not just the US, but a general idea would be good Wink

And also, how much is an England Football ticket price at Wembley?

I as with all weapons i first think why. why am i holding this. then i think about its weight. then i think of the owners manual or just how to use the specific weapon that i am holding. then i look at the gun and figure out how it works.

yeah im just weird like that and i have a need to know how things work.

Well no surprise there, Tommy would also tell you this, whether the gun is in safety or if ur 101% sure that it ain't loaded or even both, pointing it at someone is still bad etiquete. and of course there's trigger discipline, but that's another story.

There seems to be a number of A0 scanners, but they are hugely expensive ($12000 or more). There are also a lot of companies that sell scanners that handle A3 paper sizes. They, too, are expensive -- looking at $1000 and up (mostly more) for these.

You may be able to find an A3 scanner cheaper (discontinued models, etc) -- maybe for only a couple of hundred dollars. It usually is a matter of searching occasionally and hoping that you get lucky. Since these kinds of scanners are purchased mostly by businesses, they don't tend to be made in the quantities that "normal" scanners are so they are more expensive.

Mustek 98-239-00010 ,handles A3 size paper, its only £144,about $213,so it depends on how big the object is you want to scan

I did. About eight months ago I lucked out on an old Umax Astra 2000. It takes just about anything I throw at it and still looks good despite a low(by today's standard) DPI. I found it at a thrift shop for $50 with cords and I finally found a use for that parallel port. sweat

a decently high-res digital camera that adjusts well to light, a tripod and an easel can get you similar results if you can't find your scanner.

I think it's because balance is easier, or something like that. I've not tried it personally, seen as you don't get scabbards for fencing, but that seems a logical reason to me...

I am guessing that its something similar as /rant.

meaning the end of a rant or such.

same as the quote tags have a / before the tag name to state the end of the tag with the brackets telling the forums it is a formatting Tag or that something special has to be done with it.

"/", in HTML means close. So something like /div (in <>'s) would mean "end paragraph".

What I find quite funny though, is that / is also used as a subfolder thing Laughing

HTML code, not BBcode. BBcode is easy, but there's an option in the Admin CP to create new tags from HTML. That's what's been done here, whether by a current admin or by the guys who host this forum.

I tried Google and it looks like there is no actual tag, but instead you need to write a slew of Javascript to hide the text and then when you click on it, the script executes and makes the text visible.

This site has a listing of all the code you need to do a spoiler.

It does not appear to be scanlated, that I can find, so you'd likely need to order the Japanese editions via amazon.co.jp or another retailer.

Yeah, I haven’t been able to find it either, I’ve only seen the anime.

Aw Sad

Apparently, Tokyopop translated it and released a few volumes, but you can't even buy those from their site...

I just played Cod:WaW today and I noticed that the MG42 in it used drum magazines O.o

Did they even use drum magazines back in WW2?

yes they did use drum magazines ,it was mostly used when the MG42 was used in an antiaircraft role mounted on a tripod, quote from

http://world.guns.ru/machine/mg33-e.htm

The gun is fed using belts only. Feed direction is from the left to right; the feed is of the one-stage, push-through type. The belt is same as for the MG 34, with steel links with open pockets, assembled into non-disintegrating 50-round lengths. The same MG 34 type “Gurttrommel” 50-round drum-type belt containers can be used with the MG 42, and a new type of lightweight plastic 50-round belt container was developed in West Germany by HK and is now issued with MG 3 guns

it's not exactly the same as a modern drum mag (more like a can to coil an ammo belt into), but it does look like one:
[mention][/mention] wrote:Maschinengewehr MG-42

Although the MG 42 was designed to fire only the standard 50-round ammunition belts , it was not difficult to modify it to accept the MG 34's 75-round saddle-drum magazine. The large round fore sight on this example is an anti-aircraft sight.

I would not know what the enemy used, but the USA used and sent Tommy Guns with their 100-round drums to Great Brittian during WWII. They were great for for emptying trenches in the European Front, but they were not used in the Pacific Theater for some reason.

In WW1, Lewis and Vickers used .303 rounds in 100 round drums. The Allied AirCorps (British and French) managed to rig the drums so that they would be interchangable to either guns on use with airplanes. The Germans used a large ammo box to house a belt of ammunitions from 100 - 250 rounds in length on their planes. Due to the weight, German pilots kept to 100 round belt lenghts per gun. As per what was done on the ground, I would not know. BTW- German planes in WWI used 7.92mm cartridges with Spandau light machine guns.

Planes were an important component of WWI in a variety of roles, including bombing, reconnaissance and ground support.
