Seriously though, your image took it's time loading the first go round and I didn't see your desktop. Sooo, I took your mention of Isako as a guess at the char's name. Which I'll go ahead and say it's Ness from Earthbound better known as Mother 2 anywhere other than North America.

I've been thinking of organising a Macross Frontier event for an anime club recently, and it occured to me that I'd had my Mai-HiME desktop background for an awfully long time. So I decided to switch things up a bit:



I'd kind of like to get rid of the Pizza Hut logo, but I'm not really good enough with photoshop to fill in the blank space very well. There were some good things I found without the logo, but their resolution made them more suitable for a wide screen monitor, and I'm still using an old full screen CRT because it does colours better than the newer LCD monitor I've got (which looks washed out in comparison).

Been a long time since I changed my background, so here's my newest one.

Just made this a little while ago. Decided to use it as my own background! ^__^

A couple of years ago at AX I bought some signed prints by him for a crudload of $. They were so jazzed that I bought both of the prints that they insisted on taking a picture of me with them.

Photograph by Natascha Pisarenko on this year's Dakar Rally, somewhere in the Chilean or Argentinie desert.

One side of that valley looks very, very steep... but thanks to the camera angle I've got no idea which.

That however, is an entirely epic photograph. The dust from the car leads the eye into it and the whole thing just feels vast. Having the other helicopter in the top of the photo just makes it.

I'm using a small HP "netbook" style computer running Windows 7 Starter so I can't select my own desktop image. I'm stuck with the damned Windows logo.

Because I'm a sucker for that wallpaper pattern, anything remotely Helvetica related and because Akira (ARIA) should be depicted with her hair up more often:


tangerine321 on deviantART is doing a sketch a day for the next 365 days (well... 353 now) and was kind enough to tun this one into a wallpaper for me.

I finally made the jump to using a widescreen LCD as my laptop's peripheral monitor (that old CRT had such nice colours!) so I'm now using widescreen desktops pretty much exclusively. These are a couple of Macross Frontier desktops that I've been using.

I switched back to this one temporarily just to take a screenshot of it. I'll probably go back to it on more of a long term basis after Christmas. This one appears to be based on movie designs. I normally prefer the TV version of Frontier but this looks really cool.



And here's my Holiday desktop. This one seems to be TV series based. I can tell because Ranka's iSlug is green instead of orange.



I like to imagine that Ranka is trying to talk Alto into cross dressing for a Miss Santa contest in this picture. Also, Sheryl Nome as Miss Fan Service seems to be a common theme in Macross Frontier images for some reason. I probably shouldn't be surprised by that though...

Mine is big @#$%in Andrew Ryan statue with a banner under it from Bioshock.

For a while, it was a Runescape capture the flag artwork, even LONG after I indefinitely suspended my Runescape gaming .

Kinda large and it looks screwy but thats because I using 4 18.5 Inch 16:9 ratio screens operating at 1360 x 768 resolution. positioned like an upside down T. was a bit tricky but I managed to get a different wallpaper on each of em.
