Just my two cents.

I think there are a number of defunct defence intelligence agencies in the UK like MI-7 (propaganda and censorship), MI-10 (weapons and technical analysis), MI-16 (scientific intel), etc...

Given that MI-5 and MI-6's official stance is that they never operate outside of the laws of the UK (i.e no lisence to kill) you could have a 'supposedly defunct' MI agency act as the Black Ops arm of the government.

That's a brilliant idea, especially since the bunch back in old Blighty now call themselves SIS (Secret Intelligence Service). Don't think the MI numbers are in use anymore

Ministry of Public Welfare sounded nice, even though I don't know what a ministry is.

What's MI?

Military Intelligence. The Brits used to put MI and then a number for their intelligence departments and MI6 deals with foreign stuff while MI5 deals with homeland spying

A ministry is like a department ,but we have a prime minister, and members of Parliament are called ministers, the term Minister is an middle English phrase, stemming from the Old French word ministre, meaning 'servant'

MI6 also spy in the US, at the US governments request, the US constitution forbids the US gov spying on their own territory but says nothing of asking an ally to do it !

Actually, the second Bush Administration's lawyers ruled that the President has the authority to ignore the Constitution during times of war (declared or undeclared) so the NSA now routinely performs surveillance on US nationals both at home and abroad since the US is in a state of war against various foreign groups. To the best of my knowledge, the Obama Administration to date continues to follow the previous Administration's rulings.

Alright, the next chapter is almost done but I'm stuck on this:

Getaway car.

If you're thinking of picking up somebody from the 2nd-3rd floor in a rush (mind that that person HAVE to jump down and land into the car, near the car, or whatever) and make a quick getaway, what would be the BEST getaway vehicle?

I was thinking open-top cars at first, but then if an all-out shootout occurs, they will be easy picking...

Depends on the environment.

If you're in a crowded city, probably the best getaway car would be a diesel-powered Supermini-class vehicle. Plenty of torque to launch yourself, small profile to make it harder to hit, and easier to maneuver in tight spaces.

but what kind of car? I mean, type--name, to be exact.

My idea is to have the characters JUMP from a 2nd-3rd story building down into an alleyway (or right into the getaway vehicle) and drive out of the scene. I'm not good with cars and the likes...tanks, now that's a different story

Depending on the weight of the cyborgs, they might wreck the car doing this. Best for them to land outside the car and then hop in.

Simple Physics is F=MA or F=MG where G is gravity, and/or A is accelleration (from the fall). M=weight of the cyborgs. Since the weight o the cyborgs will be concentrated on the area of their feet, if they would land in the car, they would wreck its undercarriage.

Hmm....ok, that's a good one. So its better to land on the side rather than on top of the car...right, right.

Fiat Nuova 500 with the 1.3l JTD.
Will that car fit...approximately 5 people?

If the folks in back are small (like kids).

Otherwise, go for a compact hatchback van like the new Fiat Panda.
