Big chested, beautiful, and totally INSANE. A psychopath breed from heartbreak and lies who is also overly obsessive with Makoto, spawning the tragedy we know in School Days.

One vote for everybody's favorite porcine pilot.

i still have the DVD, came from the nice package of Ghibli studio works, and the story was nice, so no doubt, Porco

Kotonoha deserves at least one pity vote. I mean c'mon, she got raped by Taisuke and dumped by Makoto.

Porco. Loved the movie and the characters.

To be fair to Kotonoha, I doubt she would have become a psycho killer if she had not been screwed over by so many people. Were she treated right, I think she'd be a nice, normal girl.

Yugo is far from being the best-known character in the wide-eyed world of anime & manga so I'm not surprised that he's not attracting much attention, but nonetheless I think that he at least deserves a mention. Yugo is a peaceful soul who relies on persuasion rather than strength to acheive his objectives, but crucially he avoids the stereotypes that such a position might entail. He's not weedy - he has to struggle through some truly harrowing feats of endurance when conducting hostage negotiations in desolate climes - and crucially just because he's not violent himself doesn't mean that his stories are belaboured with tiresome and turgid sententious bleating about the joys of frolicking in the fields with daisies and bunny rabbits. Indeed, he's often involved with pretty aggressive groups, and he even uses guns, although to keep people's heads down rather than specifically harm them. For Yugo, negotiation is his talent - to resort to force is a personal failure rather than a blanket judgemental moralising. That more mature and balanced approach to the subject matter is a welcome sight to see.

I haven't actually watched either of the two Yugo the Negotiator OVAs, but I have actually heard good things about them.

As usual, I vote for teh boobies(and what boobies they are); but not necessarily for teh boobies.

I vote Kotonoha for the fact that if anybody, and I mean ANYBODY, fucks with me; Kotonoha will make damn sure they get what's coming to them.

Poor, poor Kotonoha. If only I could jump through this monitor and treat you like the lady you are.
