A fairly comprehensive list of firearms and their confirmed sightings in movies, anime, etc. Gunslinger Girl features fairly prominantly, though I personally think Henrietta got too many picts.

I remember watching Cobra when I was still bonny and twee. The laser-mounted TAO JATI-matic was the first gun I ever fell in love with. For a long time afterward, I was toting around a JATI I had made out of Lasy parts and going 'pew-pew-pew'. Good times.

The first gun I fell in love with was from a western I can't remember.

Although the gun in question was a lever-action rifle with a revolving cylinder. Being raised around rifles since I was old enough to handle a .22 snubnose revolver, I'd seen all kinds of rifles but never one with a revolving cylinder in lever action no less.

I thought that was soooo cool.

Indeed Henrietta takes up half of the page, while Angelica barely gets any screen. and Beatrice gets 1 1/2 inch slot

You cannot fight the power of kawaii and moe that is Henrietta.

This one is a black powder gun. I've seen several mentions of 45Long Colt and 357 versions from a different make, but a cursory search doesn't bring anything up quick.

How do you know that? There's no proof. For all we know it could be the other way around

based on the anime itself, the guy goes to the bathroom to answer his phone, then Henrietta apears behind him, he wonders who she is and... dies...

In the manga the Colonel's assistant gives him up and is allowed to leave before Rico (who is the only girl on the mission) goes in and snap's the Colonel's neck.

Yu did write the screenplay so I guess he either decided to change it to make it more violent, or the anime producers recommended he do so.
