Gauron x Sousuke

One a socially awkward, lone wolf teenager. The other a crazed homicidal maniac with a strange obsession for the aforementioned teenager. With a long history of conflict and encounters, Gauron has apparently formed a rather powerful love affair with Sousuke. Sousuke likewise seems to have fate force them together at every opportunity with Sousuke even actively hunting out the man during the middle of the school year to visit Gauron on his deathbed. Good luck Gauron ol' buddy.

Satsuki Miyanoshita x Hajime Aoyama

Hajime is a gradeschool pervert that hunts ghosts. Satsuki is a cynical gradeschool owner of a diary from a lesbian mother on how to catch ghosts. Together, along with their possessed cat, they hunt the school for demons that would try to kill you when you take a crap, try to put on a Shakespearian play, or try to run on the track. If it weren't for Hajime's right hand, this couple would be a complete shoo-in. As it stands, they are still a couple in the making.

A jailbait bible thumper Jesus Freak mixed with a traditional Jewish boy, and a barely coherent toddler make up one of the most dynamic trios in the history of anime. One loves Jesus, one loves kosher, another loves "goobaagaddoobeeda." A finer example of love and understanding there is not. Go Team Ghost Stories.

The 25 year old Sergeant Major (damn, but Mithril promotes 'em young) of a submarine's Special Response Team (think a marine contingent on a naval vessel) and the 16(well, 17 by the end of the anime)-year-old commander of said submarine. Roommates who are near polar opposites in how they approach life, these two are always supporting each other in times of crisis (and are often at odds during their more peaceful moments). They seem to know more about each other than most married couples, and each can take a joke and bite right back, as long as it's her roomie making the joke. 'Best friends' seems a gross understatement when referring to:
