National Geographic Magazine Article on Bionics

Post by Kiskaloo on Thu 25 Mar 2010 - 16:09

The January 2010 issue of National Geographic Magazine ran the current state of Bionics as it's cover article. I'm a subscriber, so I read the article months ago, but now that it's available for public viewing, I thought I'd post a link. You can find it in their archives here.

I think I posted the cover in the Random Media section back in January. Alas, there was no mention of the important contributions of Claes.

Interesting article though.

From the article...

The android went missing on an America West flight in early 2006. It has not been seen since. If you are in possession of the android or know of its whereabouts, please contact us immediately.

America West bought US Airways (and took their name), so chances are it was lost in the merger and is now sitting in the overhead bin on some 737 in Victorville, CA, waiting to be discovered when the plane is parted out. Smile
