But yes, I just registered. And yeah...I just felt like being funny with the user name :p But don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Gunslinger Girl. Actually it seems hard as hell to find other people who've read/watched it because, well, yeah. Every time I bring it up, people keep asking me to take a seat...

The NBC building (in case anyone didn't get that).

For all the flack it gets, the GSG anime doesn't have a hint of fan service or the like. I'm guessing that people associate it with those kind of themes because of its title. First lesson to learn here is not to judge media by their titles, especially when it comes to anime/manga, where titles are frequently misleading/not at all indicative of the actual contents of the work.
