A Metal Puzzle That Transforms Into A .45 Caliber Muzzle Loading Pistol

Post by windfish55 on Sat 31 Jul 2010 - 21:06

I found this the other day. It kind of reminds me of the Golden Gun. I don't think it's very practical as a firearm, but it's a fantastic piece of art.

Some people have entirely way too much time on their hands.

I hope he scrubs the heck out of those parts before turning it back into a block of whatever. Black powder is murderously corrosive to metals.

Glocks are not the shit. Glocks can fail the same as any other gun. I've seen it personally, and have even heard first-hand accounts of something as basic as a slide-retaining pin snapping, the slide flying off. Get over the obsession and buy what fits your hand, your wallet, and ability.

Something to entertain a cyborg on a long car journey, maybe?

Why did Jose roboticise Henrietta? Not to pursue his vendetta against Dante - to stop her getting antsy during the long drive to Turin!

Yeah, Jose doesn't have the luxury of putting her behind the wheel to keep her attention focused.

Michele: "That, too."

Well, the golden gun's easier to put together...

Jethro: The tech crowd took that off'f you. Anyway, I'm getting a cunning plan involving fencing that puzzle to someone we don't like as an art piece.

Monty: We have a Welrod for jobs like that. Besides, I am not attempting to pull that thing apart mid-mission.

Jethro: Looks like fun though.

Monty: *deadpan* Get a rubix cube.

You could just bludgeon the target with it.

Marisa: That's a little unfair. I've heard stories about you going at people with a cricket bat...

Monty: That was a thoughtful and considered deconstruction of the human form. Not... random blunt trauma.

Hmmm...valid consideration. If you refuse to make a bathroom break at every single rest stop an irate cyborg might rip the door off your auto.

Marisa: Personally I like nice, inexpensive chain for that. But first you've got to cut open the lungs and gut to allow decomposition gasses to escape and...

Monty: (wincing) Ugh! Too much detail! Do I need any more evidence for my maximum gore, minimum consideration charge?

I wish they wouldn't give the gun-grabbers any ideas on in-home storage requirements. Smile
