Now might not be the appropriate time Robert, but I had some concerns about the legality of the Letters of Marque we issued to those kids: apparently the "Forum Police" isn't yet an internationally recognized authority. Go figure.

Robert -I might be more concerned about posting these if there was an official North American release of the series. But there's not.

Anyway, these are from the Macross Frontier "Nyan Clip" music video collection. It's actually a bit more than a music video collection actually -it has some fake interviews of the two singer characters (unfortunately they're not translated) as well as some fake advertisements featuring one of them. The music videos themselves contain some footage from the movie and TV show but also a lot of completely new footage. It's actually pretty good, though unfortunately the vocaloid-inspired dancing CGI models that show up in a couple segments ruined the series previously excellent track record for knowing when it should and shouldn't use CGI models (it works great for dogfighting spacecraft, but not for characters).

Alas, the reaction to my previous post seems to be another example of sarcasm not carrying over the internet...

Robert -I just looked back at your post now. I think at the time I thought one of the mods did the editting rather than you, probably because of Natch's post following it. Therefore I wasn't entirely sure what had originally been said. But yeah... sometimes humour gets lost in the translation to internet text. Laughing

This video is from Sky Girls and Strike Witches. So this music is called, "The Battle of One by 30 Seconds to Mars"

He's been too modest to post it here, but recently Totoum composed a slick video interpreting Puella Magi Madoka Magica as a trailer for Inception:

I also encountered this AMV a few weeks back. Just make sure that you spray on your cootie-repellent before opening it, and you can enjoy some of the best lip-syncing I've seen - you'd think that it was originally recorded this way.

Soul Eater was a good watch IMO (though its probably not for everyone). That AMV did a fantastic job of making it look like the baddest thing since The Nightmare Before Christmas.

P.S. - The English dub features the talents of our very own Laura Bailey and Monica Rial <3

The Madoka/Inception trailer parody and the Soul Eater "This is Halloween" AMV are both awesome.

Great song with a great choice of anime:

More a fake advertisement than an AMV, but it's pretty hilarious:
