Huomiset

Post by motorwaymurderer on Sat 1 Jan 2011 - 15:20

Well yes,

I'm Kanerva aka motorwaymurderer, 18, and I live in Finland. Oh, and yes, I'm a girl. I suck when it comes to foreign languages like English but I'll do my best, and according to other forums I'm understandable... at least usually.

I watched Gunslinger Girl some years ago (probably 2006) and have been following manga ever since. Something in cyborgs, little girls and guns just is fantastic, and this concept always works for me. I somehow didn't come across this forum earlier than few weeks ago. I don't have favorite characters or something; I love everything. It's possible that somewhere very deep inside me I have a weak point for Triela.

My other interests are Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary girl Utena), scifi, baking, ball-jointed dolls and writing. I've written some fanfiction about GSG but unfortunately it's all in Finnish, and I have no means to translate it. I spend all my time online and firmly believe that there are never too many friends. I also wish I was a cyborg because it would be the end of aching shoulders.

Ask something? n __ n I don't bite unless asked to.

No, really, welcome to the forum! Your English is pretty good so don't worry about it.

Tervetuloa, ystävä!

Where are you from, in Finland? I have a friend from Turku and one from Tampere. I've been wanting to visit for a long time - the country looks beautiful! And, like Professor Voodoo and Maverick said, your English is fine, don't worry about it!

Also, who's your favorite Gunslinger Girl?

Maybe we'll be able to see your fics at some point here!

Basic temperature. Very Happy Okay, not so much, but where I used to live it was nice to have -22 C because usually it was -30 C. It's extreme there but I'm little amused how it has messed up people's lives there, and for us it's usually like that. The whole airport problem was almost ridiculous :_ D

Didn't get much where I'm at in Ohio. We're just south of the snow belt created by Lake Erie's lake effect. Not 20 miles north of here they got feet of snow when we got inches. Come February, though, we're going to get slammed. Every slow December means we get a good blizzard in Feb and maybe March. Two to three feet in under 24 hours on a good one a few years ago.

I know... Doesn't compare to the northern plains like Montana, with their "shovel the roof or die" every year, but still...
