I'm looking for a writer...

Post by WSM on Sun 5 Jun 2011 - 2:55

Hey, y'all. I'm WSM but you can call me "WSM".
I like to draw and I want to make a comic. I like Gunslinger Girl so I want to draw a Gunslinger Girl comic.
Are you keeping up with me so far?

The thing is that I don't know enough about Spy fiction, GSG or Italian politics to write one so I was hoping to find a writer.
I want to stress that this comic isn't just going to be a vehicle to show off your OCs. I want this to be a very collaborative project.

Here's some examples of my art (mostly sketches)...

Sorry I don't have any pics of like backgrounds and stuff like that.

Anyway, if you're interested in helping me with a comic, message me or reply here.
Thanks for your time

Good stuff.

Try dropping Robert Frazer a PM...I dare say he's been looking for an artist for a while.

I saw a werewolf drinking a Piņa Colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Aw hell... who let Val Kilmer into this flick? (3rd down on right)

You've got some good skills there. If you've got the time to spend, I recommend picking up "Cardinal of the Kremlin" by Tom Clancy. Obviously it's a thick read, but there's a lot of good stuff in there regarding practical spy workings. Bond films or novels are the best source for the flashy spy ideas.

Glocks are not the shit. Glocks can fail the same as any other gun. I've seen it personally, and have even heard first-hand accounts of something as basic as a slide-retaining pin snapping, the slide flying off. Get over the obsession and buy what fits your hand, your wallet, and ability.

Wow, someone recognized him; I'm impressed.

I'll give it a try but I never liked Tom Clancy. And I've read a lot of Bond stuff and seen all the movies.
