Arguably the funniest thing I've ever seen was some dolt with a Glock 18 (full-auto), illegally modified with a fore-grip (felony stuff, folks), firing a 30 round mag in an indoor range. Fore-grip pops off halfway through, puts a round through the aforementioned dolt's hand.

I laughed.

Dumb ass Glocktard

Glocks are not the shit. Glocks can fail the same as any other gun. I've seen it personally, and have even heard first-hand accounts of something as basic as a slide-retaining pin snapping, the slide flying off. Get over the obsession and buy what fits your hand, your wallet, and ability.

Wait... if it's a full-auto Glock 18, doesn't that make it an AOW already, even without the foregrip? How does the foregrip make it even more illegal, if the pistol is already a full-auto AOW?

I saw that. I know the guy who made it. It was actually a civilian issue 17C that he modded to be selective fire.

And yes, that IS felony stuff. Just like taking the trigger disconnecter out of a pump shotgun.

There are very very few real Glock 18s in the US. Even among FFL SOT 1 dealers. Most 'Glock 18s' are modified Glock 17s made by FFL 7 SOT 2 Manufacturers, and as such are not transferable beyond FFL SOT holders. There are tons of these.

There are no transferable Glock 18s in the US.

Once registered as a machinegun, the firearm doesn't have any other classifications as far as the law is concerned. Config'd as a pistol (AOW or not) or rifle (SBR config or not) no longer matters. Once a machinegun ALWAYS a machinegun.

There are quite a few pump shotguns that are made without disconnectors (Mossberg M590, Browning BPS, Winchester 1300, ect) and they are not illegal. I have one (Mossberg M590A1).

ETA: I'm a Glock armorer, and I'm having trouble figuring out where the 'Slide Retaining Pin' is... There's a locking block pin, trigger pin, and a trigger housing pin.

Very true as slamfire shotty's seem too be coming back in style. I have a 590A1 as well and purchased it for that simple reason.

What I meant is that it was illegal to physically remove the trigger disconnecter from a pump shotgun. Should it be manufactured without one, then the law as is doesn't apply. Count on the ATF to be working on remedying that one though. ...Bastards.

i.e. bullets are grouped by what there made of not what thay do.

why o why did he put that over sized sight on it,it gets in the the way of cocking it.

I believe the video was fully intended to be a parody of some other video. The scope is one for a rifle (and useless on a handgun), and is mounted, ahem, backwards.

I've seen the vid. It was a rental gun, dude. And if I was firing a machine pistol, I would probably put a (totally legal) foregrip on it to control recoil, too. Give the guy a break :/
