I feel bad about that sometimes; seeing a brilliantly simple idea but not rewarding its inventor by actually buying it. Simple ideas are just too easy to copy at a fraction of the cost.

Dumb ideas can be copied at a fraction of the cost as well.

I always found the fact that my Casio G-Shock was rated for a deeper depth than my body amusing, but this is ridiculous.

Re: Awesome products.
This is going to sound horribly domesticated, but because my apartment is quite small I don't really have anywhere to hang washing out. Since I am also way, way to lazy to drag my arse to a laundromat I wound up buying a washer/dryer combo:

Best money I've spent in a long time; throw your clothes in and three hours later they come back out washed and dry. Because it uses steam for the dry cycle rather than hot air it doesn't heat the room up and also suddenly everything can be tumble dried (within reason, obviously). Double bonus, again because of the steam, as long as you get your clothes out right at the end of the cycle (you can tell it was designed in Japan or Korea... it plays a little song rather than beeping) they're mostly wrinkle free and only need an iron vaugly waved in their direction.
Ok, I'll stop now because I'm starting to scare myself.
