Not sure if this one is "cool" or just incredibly lazy...

Some days ago, on saturday, i visited the core of our town (Bielefeld in Germany) and look what i found there:

The most awesome thing for the kitchen. A "must-have" for all knife-thrower cyborgs or handlers.
I guess even Emilie would love this, to display her knives in a very beautyful way. cheers

Lol, If the knives are included, I'm gonna by it myself as a present for christmas. Razz

That's actually rather clever, but also easy to copy with a handful of wood screws, a big hook and some lumber.

I feel bad about that sometimes; seeing a brilliantly simple idea but not rewarding its inventor by actually buying it. Simple ideas are just too easy to copy at a fraction of the cost.

Marisa: How can you be narced* in only 7 meters of water?

Companion: (concerned voice) Oh...is your watch waterproof? (we've already been in the water 2 hours)

This is going to sound horribly domesticated, but because my apartment is quite small I don't really have anywhere to hang washing out. Since I am also way, way to lazy to drag my arse to a laundromat I wound up buying a washer/dryer combo:

Best money I've spent in a long time; throw your clothes in and three hours later they come back out washed and dry. Because it uses steam for the dry cycle rather than hot air it doesn't heat the room up and also suddenly everything can be tumble dried (within reason, obviously). Double bonus, again because of the steam, as long as you get your clothes out right at the end of the cycle (you can tell it was designed in Japan or Korea... it plays a little song rather than beeping) they're mostly wrinkle free and only need an iron vaugly waved in their direction.

Ok, I'll stop now because I'm starting to scare myself.

Flon Solutions, which conveniently consults in making Passbook tickets, has put together a bunch of fun historical events, concerts, coupons, and voyages to put in your Passbook.

Passbook is a feature of Apple iOS6 that allows you to have digital versions of things like boarding passes, movie tickets, retail coupons, loyalty cards and such on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Michele: The SWA will be the death of Italian cuisine as we know it.

Marisa: The way my favorite F1 team is doing this year I don't get many chances to choose the lunch place on Monday, so when Toro Rosso does beat Williams I really have a hard time deciding. Now there is no longer any reason to choose between Italian & Mexican...I present the PIZZA-TACO!

Ayden: Last Valentine's Day was the best ever! My hander Gunther gave me a bouquet of roses!

And finally...

Henrietta: It's...beautiful...

I'm reminded of that SNL "Taco Town" skit.

Have you ever wanted to spend £4,000 on a desk lamp? Me neither. But if aliens ever showed up and threatened to destroy the world if I did not spend £4,000 on a desk lamp it would be this one.

It's made from an exhaust header from Fernando Alonso's 2006 Renault R26 (in which he won the World Championship).

Link...they've actually got quite a bit of interesting memorabilia for rabid F1 fans with too much disposable income.

SWA Medical Ward...

Doctor Belgonzi: "We had to go in with nanobot scrubbers, but I think we got the last of it out of her veins and her artificial blood is now flowing normally again."

Gunther: "That's a relief."

Doctor Belgonzi: "In all my years as a cardiologist, I've never seen blockage like this. If she had a normal heart, it probably would have exploded trying to push blood through that mess."

Ayden: "It was so worth it."
