In case you've seen this before, I moved the topic because I thought this would be a better spot for it.


I think this is a good place to share my massive crossover project. I simply call it Megacosmos.

This project called this because it has a galaxy of universes that behave like living cells and orbit like planets. At the beginning, many video game/cartoon/anime universes begin interacting with each other after two superpowers from a devestated universe colonize the Megacosmos. Now they are ten nations continuously at war.

I would like to discuss more of this.

I've recently been trying to develop a history of the Gunslinger Girl universe and its characters for the project. Nearly all the major characters would come back to due to the interaction of universes and they will play some roles within the project.



In case anyone forgot the whole situation and begnning story, it's down here now.



Long ago, a nearby universe was devastated by a war against two universal superpowers. Many habitable worlds were destroyed and the population of the universe was dramatically reduced. After the war, the two superpowers spent years looking for a way to get new homes. The superpowers eventually were able to travel through their universe and discovered thousands of more universes, which appeared like living cells and orbited like planets. This galaxy of universes was called the Megacosmos.

Both superpowers began colonizing and interacting with these universes. They eventually became Megacosmic powers named after each other. The first was the Union of Good, a monarch, monotheistic nation that controlled most of the Megacosmos. It set its capital universe in the universe center-most of the Megacosmos. The second was the Coalition of Magical and Technological Republics (COMTR), an enlightened industrial republic where universes, unlike those in the UG, joined mostly through free will. Although some universes were used more often than others as capital universes, COMTR remained a multi-capital nation. It developed and shared multiple advanced technologies such as improved magic/technology hybrid weapons, reincarnation, and nearly endless life span.

Years later, resentment and presence of villains increased within the controlled universes of the UG. In response, the Megacosmic nations brought their greatest scientists, Professor Mechan from the UG and Dr. Biolog from COMTR, to create new weapons for the UG. Professor Mechan and Dr. Biolog eventually created a humanoid, lady-like biological weapon named Vilgar. Vilgar was able to use all kinds of powers and combine them to make more powerful ones. She could also contact other objects and beings to copy their powers as well as transferring them. Impressed, the UG gave nearly all their power for Vilgar to copy and use as she fought against the aggressors.

About 1 YAC ((Megacosmic) Years after Colonization), Vilgar’s programming broke down. She eventually began to resent the UG herself. Disgusted by the UG and feeling pity for her rivals, Vilgar gathered all the villains she could find as well as other resenting people. They launched a quick attack on the UG, overwhelming most of the nation’s forces, conquering most of the universes, and annihilating everything in its capital universe. After defeating the UG, overwhelmed by massacring heroes and her new ambitions, Vilgar and her followers turned on her hero allies, slaughtering them ruthlessly and eventually using them for amusement for years to come. Many other heroes were imprisoned in large numbers, contained in massive orange shields. Vilgar united the conquered universes as it became the VICE (Villains’ Individual Consortium of Evil). Although it appeared lawless, it seemed to be completely controlled by Vilgar, her best allies, and her newly created servants.

Meanwhile, a massive chunk of the UG remained in chaos after the nation fell. However, it eventually became SOLARR (Socialist Organizations, Leaders, and Armies for Races and Religions), a nation first controlled by a military junta that reformed itself into a republic enlightened and influenced by social democracy. During the years, SOLARR and COMTR joined forces to stop any further spread of the VICE whenever it attacked. SOLARR was able to get enough willful recruits to have a military almost as large as the VICE. On the other hand, COMTR researched, created, and shared new technologies and weapons. After 3 Megacosmic years, the three nations continued to grow and arm up as the VICE built a vast empire, but its ruthlessness was no different from its earlier years.

However, that all changed when Professor Mechan and Dr. Biolog, whose lives were spared by Vilgar, spent the years hiding in an underground lab on a yet developed world. They worked on a teleportation device to bring people from what they believed to be the universe with the most powerful species, the reality universe (the real world). Before malfunctioning, the machine teleported 11 people from the reality universe to different parts of the Megacosmos. Only one came into the scientists’ lab, a typical teenage boy named Jamey Jason.

Moments after rejection, Jamey agreed to the scientists’ urgent request to fight the VICE. The scientists trained him and gave him the most powerful power they kept hidden from Vilgar, the power to manipulate the Megacosmos itself. However, this power was limited when it was given to Jamey since its most powerful abilities required suicidal brain power. With his power and given weapons and equipment, Jamey launched attacks against the VICE on the planet, finding more allies in attempt to bring down the VICE as well as finding her sister.

Jamey’s sister, Tammy Jason, was teleported onto the same planet, but was trapped in a city of heroes, contained by one of the VICE’s massive orange shields. Tammy was found by rebel heroes, hoping to bring down the government controlled by the VICE and free everyone inside the shield. Although she was not a fan of war and violence, she joined the movement, overthrew the dystopian puppet government, and destroyed one of the two shield generators, which was located in the city palace. At the same moment, Jamey and his allies located the contained city and destroyed the second generator found outside of the shield. The shield was deactivated and the heroes inside were free. The two Jasons were reunited.

Jamey then spread his movement to other planets across the universe. Getting new ships and new allies after destroying the VICE’s largest arena and hero prison in the universe, he and his sister spread their movement to more universes in the Megacosmos. Vilgar, whose has been intervening on their actions, sent a fleet of 6 million ships to occupy the revolting universes. Overseeing this, Jamey sent his sister to SOLARR to get reinforcements. SOLARR, COMTR, and the rebels joined forces, crushing the occupying fleet while Jamey destroyed Vilgar’s immense flagship.

Vilgar and her remaining occupying forces abandoned the rebelling universes in disgrace. Now free, the rebels formed the East Consortium, a nation vice versa of the VICE. No longer seeing the Vilgar’s empire as the VICE, the nation and its allies decided to call it the West Consortium. The Jasons, as well as Mechan and Biolog, lived peacefully within SOLARR.

After years of peace, the West Consortium began to deteriorate more as more rebellions and questioning of Vilgar’s leadership occurred. Despite still being one of the largest nations, it lost vast territory to five new nations and territories. One was the same UG, which was now made up of 5 universes, including its old capital universe. Jamey and the allied “good nations” joined and helped the UG successfully break away. Next to secede was the Ultra Corporation, a corporatocratic industrial nation just as corrupt as the VICE. The Female Federation came next, an all-girl nation that envied one of its neighbors, COMTR’s power. The Hunter’s State, which was barely the third to break away, became a home for bounty hunters, criminals, and mercenaries.

The secessions, however, stopped after a disaster spread a radioactive substance called “cabmonyte” across the Megacosmos. It created a purple new branch of life called “UNTOLS”, which hoped to infest the Megacosmos with the substance or destroy the Megacosmos completely. To stop the UNTOLS, SOLARR, the good nations, and even the West Consortium and Female Federation made a flexible pact. This pact made a temporary alliance of the nations to prevent the spread of cabmonyte and annihilating the purple creatures wherever they attacked. The UNTOLS were contained in post-VICE territory of the Megacosmos, surrounded by the Female Federation, Ultra Corporation, and COMTR. This was the last of the territory lost by the West Consortium.

However, rebellions in the Megacosmos still continued. A new strong independence movement called the Rights Coalition was brewing within the Ultra Corporation torn by war and oppression. Corporate officials in the Ultra Corporation collaborated to suppress the movement. Led by the Ultra Corporation’s top president and CEO, Chairman Fureassect, they made a derived plan to crush the Rights Coalition by ripping the rebelling universes apart and using their best pieces for the nation’s needs.

Jamey and Tammy were called by the Rights Coalition to assist. Jamey assisted the Rights Coalition while looking for allies native to the universes. Tammy went to look for allies outside the Ultra Corporation, including the other 9 people from the reality universe scattered across the Megacosmos. In the process, she got more allies by capturing and showing evidence of the Ultra Corporation’s war crimes. The Jasons eventually came together with their allies. Despite all attempts of retaliation, Fureassect and his plan were beaten. The Rights Coalition achieved independence, taking about half the Ultra Corporation’s territory.

Fureassect survived, however, and demanded revenge by launching smaller wars against his new rival nation. The Ultra Corporation and Rights Coalition continuously exchanged territory in a line of disputed universes now in chaos called the Wall of Chaos. The Ultra Corporation wishes to exploit this area while the Rights Coalition hopes to bring humanitarian aid with help from the good nations.

The Jasons have realized how distant they were from their ultimate goals of restoration and peace. But to continue making progress on them, they and their allies joined together to become the Winged Saviors, a band of mercenaries who’d help the good nations in time of peril…mostly for a price.

It’s been months since the last major war. The “hostile nations” have been quiet as they and the good nations rebuild and expand their power and influence.

The Winged Saviors continue their service and aid to the good nations. However, it won’t be long before they encounter something that would once again bring the Megacosmos to war.

Gunslinger Girl's role in Megacosmos

Haven't thought about it completely and there may be changes, but I recently did the role of the Gunslinger Girl universe and some of its characters in my crossover project. Here is what I have so far.



Location

The GSG universe is in the present-day Ultra Coporation. It is located near the borders and close to the chaotic "Wall of Chaos" and the Female Federation.



Note: The GSG universe may also be located near the Strike Witches universe since this relationship will be important in some stories in the crossover project.



History

The GSG universe was first discovered and controlled by the Union of Good (This takes place after all events in the known series). After discovering the cybrogs and their history, the UG used COMTR technology to reincarnate the lost major fratelli and agents and cancel out some of the long term effects of conditioning such as the shortened life span. The Social Welfare Agency became the only people who learn and travel around the Megacosmos. Their counter-terrorist operations have also expanded into the entire UG nation. After the creation of Vilgar, the SWA's usefulness for UG began to dwindle as Vilgar covered most of their operations. The UG sometimes left the SWA to fend for themselves when they were fighting perils that threatened their universe.



Eventually disgusted by the UG's actions, the SWA joined Vilgar's army in overthrowing the UG. When Vilgar turns on the SWA, all members were wiped out, except four, who suspected such betrayal and were able to escape. These were the Hilshire-Triela and the Jose-Henrietta fratello and they lived as a tiny secret society within the VICE during its 3-Megacsmosic-Year (3,000 Earth years) reign. Without the SWA, their work became undone as terrorism and crime increased in the entire universe during the years.



When the VICE deteriorated, the GSG universe was taken by the new Ultra Corporation. Although corrupt as its predecessor, the Ultra Corporation decided to intervene on the crime problem in the GSG universe and bring back the SWA to help do so. The SWA was also sent to help quell the Rights Coalition movement as well as hunting down the Jasons and their allies. After the Rights Coalition achieved independence, the SWA decided to limit their operations to their universe while still remaining loyal to their nation, despite growing concern and resistance. They also try to isolate their technology to prevent it from being misused by the Megacosmic nations. Regarless of this isolation, the universes gets many visitors from Ultra Corporation officials and people from other universes.



Characters

Henrietta/Jose- The fratello involutarily joined the Hilshire/Triela fratello in escaping from the SWA and its destruction from Vilgar's army. The duo weren't seen with the Hilshire/Triela fratello by Vilgar's forces, and therefore, were believed to be dead. When hearing about Jamey's actions, they and the Triela/Hilshire fratello find and help him, providing assistance and some intelligence. When Jamey was once about to be killed, the fratello jumped in to take the hit, and fight off the VICE as Jamey escaped. They eventually encountered and confront Vilgar in the process, only to be killed. During the Rights Coalition movement, the fratello were brought back to go after Jamey. They refuse to kill Jamey when they confront him and therefore, let him kill them. Even with their operations limited, the fratello are visited by people such as Jamey himself.



Jean/Rico- The fratello eavesdrops onto and reports Hilshire and Triela plan to leave the SWA. Before they could intervene, they are interrupted and killed by Vilgar's armies. After being brought back, Jean becomes determined to hunt down to Jamey, seeing him as a mass murderer (since he has no idea about Jamey's prevailence over the VICE). When his brother refuses to kill Jamey, he and Rico try to take him on themselves, only to be wiped out swiftly. Even when the SWA begins isloating, the fratello are still very active in missions. Of the two, Rico is visited more often than with Jean by outsiders. It turns out that Rico has suspected to have seen Jamey before (before the events of the series) regardless of the conditioning, but finds it hard to remember.



Hilshire/Triela- This fratello left Vilgar's cause in protest for her army's omnicidal onslaught of the UG's capital universe. They escaped the SWA, brought Henrietta and Jose with them, and left their universe with a hijacked ship. They lived as a small secret society and help Jamey when they learn about his rebellion. The fratello strangely disappears after Henrietta and Jose saved Jamey from his near-execution, but some reports of them have shown that they continued to help out the rebellion. Even when the VICE collapsed and the Ultra Corporation helped restore their universe, the fratello still remained at large. They only returned to their universe and the SWA after it began privatizing their operations. At this rate, they and the Henrietta-Jose fratello were able to tell the rest of the Agency of Jamey's real actions and accomplishments. It is the only major fratello to visit other universes rather than just be visited by outsiders.



This is just a first draft, but it would pleasant to hear feedback. If I have anything wrong or something of that nature, please notify me so I could do changes.

Is this taking place in the future? Or some alternate time line/universe? Seeing as it looks like you're getting a space armada involved.

Or is it like forces from an alternate dimension are invading are the girls are just caught up in it?

Yes. It DOES take place in the future. WAY after the events of the original GSG series. That explains having this whole timeline.

However, I'm doing my best not to alter the universe too much. I still want to make sure it follows and works with the original series and its characters.

I'd like to set a little away from the shooter and introduce the military for the all-girl nation, the Female Federation.

The military structure of the Female Federation is more like a combination of Halo's Covenant and the Milbots from a game called Metal Arms. It is a hierarchy followed by a chain of command of elite soldiers called Femme Guards and then the superior commanders. List will start from lowest soldiers to the highest.

Grunt- (similar to the Mil Grunt and Covenant Grunt) The Grunts, are two of the basic soldiers of the Female Federation. They are younger versions of the Bratz girls and each girl has a different standard issue weapon. Jade one have laser rifles, Yasmin ones have dual-minigun rifles, Cloe ones have rocket launchers and explosives, and the Sasha ones have sniper rifles.

Hijacker- (similar to the Mil Grunt and Covenant Jackal) The Hijackers are the second of the basic soldiers. They are the original Bratz girls like the Grunts and their weapons are based on what girl they are. However, unlike the Grunts, Hijackers are given heart-shaped shields on both of their wrists. Hijackers are given the name since they also serve as the nation's pilots and can be able to successfully hijack enemy vehicles.

Striker- (similar to the Mil Sherq and Covenant Drone) Strikers are mostly bred Witches (Strike Witches) that serve as aerial infantry. Their Striker units resemble Female Federation aircraft and are in suits that allow them to travel in space. They would usually carry the same weapons the Grunts and Hijackers carry, but standard issue does not depend on the type of girl.

Trooper- (Mil Trooper) Troopers are Special Ops forces that can also act as aerial infantry. Like the Strikers, they are bred Witches, but their units are a lot different. The Striker units are on the backs of Troopers and they resemble helicopters (common type resembles the Apache). They also change into two forms: a jet pack form (using the turboshafts), and a helicopter form where Troopers can give air-to-ground support or reconnaissance on planets. Most Troopers don't usually bring weapons with them unless go on their helicopter forms since many are already attached to the unit. Small rocket tubes, heatseeking missiles, and miniature plasma cannons are attached to the arms, having a controller on each arm. There are also blades attached to the pylon ends of the Trooper's Striker unit.

Ranger- (Covenant Elite) Rangers are the basic ground officers. They are Polly from Polly Pocket and they have a plasma cannon attached to their arms. They can pilot vehicles, but not hijack enemy ones. However, they can also repair vehicles. (Based on this, Rangers are also called Peepers, as a reference to the Polly Peepers from Silhouette Mirage)

Guardians (Mil Elite Guard, maybe also the Covenant Brute) Guardians are superior Ground officers and act as elite guards to the Femme Guards. They are Barbies, wrapped in heavy armor and carry halberds with heart-shaped edges. The halberds also have a large built-in plasma cannon for destroying vehicles.

Assaulter- (Mil Predator) Assaulters are aerial officers that command the Strikers and Troopers. They are bred Witches, but like the Troopers, their units have two forms. The first is the form of a bomber that can carry Strikers on the wings. If all available spaces are filled, they are predicted to be capable of traveling warp speed. The second form is a hovering X-wing-ish form with certain weapons. This can only be done if all spaces for the Strikers are empty. Aside from the weapons in its second form, it has no standard issue weapons.

Femme Guards- The elite guards for the top commanders. These are naturally born girls set and/or recruited into the military and serve as field/ship commanders. The chain of command are five ranks represented as different colors: pink, magenta, red, white, and yellow. Lower ranking Femme Guards (i.e. pink and magenta) are more out on the battlefield while higher ranking ones (i.e. yellow and white) act as generals. Lower ranked Guards are given a certain amount of forces except for naturally special ones (i.e. if the Guard is a natural born Witch, she can control more Strikers/Troopers/Assaulters). They can pilot and repair vehicles and carry any weapon, but their standard issue are Femme Rifles. These rifles are single charge, bolt action rifles firing lasers that turn enemy males into girls that fight on their side.

I think at this point you should drop the GSG elements altogether and make this a stand alone original project. I'm serious.

Megacosmos Antagonists

Here is my current list of original antagonists that are found throughout the Megacosmos project. They are listed whoever is currently introducred first to last.


- Vilgar: The chronologically first main atagonist in the project. She was first made to quell villains and surpress rebellions within the UG until she had a villainous breakdown and believed there is suffering in the world because of the good forces always winning. She eventually became so mentally insane that not only did she turn on her masters, she and the other forces under her wing also turned on the hero allies that supported her. For about millions of years, she shadowly ruled the Villain's Individual Consortium of Evil and continued to have most of her insanity until Jamey came and defeated her. She continues to rule her nation, now called the West Consortium, but more humanely than before. Her power is to copy abilities of objects upon contact while giving a painful electric shock to the host. She permenantly gains these abilities and can make new powers by combining ones she already has.

- The Intox Gang: A gang that runs massive intoxicant cartels. They first ran their operations in the VICE, now they operate all over the Megacosmos, but corely in the Ultra Corporation. There are currently 20 major members who are also major Ultra Corporation officials, each with powers, personalities, and histories resembling a certain intoxicant. Currently known members are Mary Juana (Marijuana), Al Copal (Alcohol), Coca Cola (Cocaine), Silver Divornium (Salvia Divornium), Shroom (Mushrooms), X-static (Ecstacy), Toby Ako (Tobbaco), and Sterio (Steroids).

- Naldra: A CEO of a financial company that sponsors Vilgar's activities. This eventually got ruined by Jamey and his financial business never recovered from it. However, he now serves as one of the Ultra Corporation's major officials, one of their major ground commanders, and manfuacturer for some of the nation's weapons. Given by Vilgar later during Jamey's adventure, he has the power to manipulate rock and uses massive machines like the rest of the Ultra Corporation officials.

- Chairman Fureassect: The President and CEO of the Ultra Corporation. He used to run the meat industry, but now he controls particularly everything in the nation. lthough found very corrupt and greedy, he is determined to go to great lengths to keep his industries alive. Like most of the other corporate officials, he controls giant machines. He also wears a tiger furcoat that shoots claws like homing missiles and a powerful plasma cannon that gets its energy by consuming it from other people.

- Ms. Crossbow: Fureassect third-in-command and a major commander of the military's air forces. She controls a gigantic transforming Apache Helicopter fitted with two rotors extended on the sides.

- Negreb and Nesleb: Two very opposite sisters that control the power industry. Negreb's powers are fire and based on solid fuel sources (i.e. uranium, coal) Nesleb rides a giant mutant squid/octopus hybrids and has powers based on water and liquid fuel sources (i.e. oil).

- Koresh Borost: A religiously fanatical Knight Templar official of the Ultra Corporation claiming to represent the Church in the nation, although he only represents a much smaller part. He uses exorcism as a weapon and can do extreme hurt to "evil" entities. However, evil powers are also his Achilles' heel since he is only immune to attacks from "good" entities.

- Tilil Cinomed: An Ultra Corporation official that controls the prostitution ring of the nation's criminal underworld branch. Fights with a very long sharp whip.

- Ucad: A very muscular Ultra Corporation official that runs the fitness programs and the first to be encountered by the Jasons. He fights with two massive blades on his arms and looks like Starcraft's Protoss Zealot.

- Diana Anna James: A sadistic teenage Female Federation military commander with feminine utopian views. She controls the majority of the Female Federation's military forces and is very ruthless to enemy males. She has a personal Striker unit made up of hearts and resembles Dodonpachi's Hibachi. She can also summon very pink duplicates of female characters.

- Variver: One of Vilgar's servants gone rogue. He hopes to destroy everything in the Megacosmos or put it into chaos so he could remake it in his own liking. He likes anything that comes in a variety and fights with a massive variety of weapons. He can put his hands together to create a color-changing energy sword long and strong enough to slice an aircraft carrier vertically in half.

- Erikson Eversome: The chairman of the shadowly Megacosmosic anti-supernatural Nor-Man (Normal Man) political party. He has a hatred for the supernatural and hopes to destroy it all or have it destroy itself. When fighting, he uses flame-throwing rocket boosters on skates and any anti-magic he could find. He sometimes uses supernatural ablities only to lose or destroy it later.

- SHADES: The mouthless heart-controller of the UNTOLS. Though she has a robotic personality, there is some evidence that she also thinks freely. She has electrical attacks, can operate all types of computers, and control a massive ORACLE mothership. She can tranform from an intimate humanoid female to a flying ethereal aura form resembling Cardcaptor Sakura's Water Card.

- Arachnid: SHADES's enforcer and adviser. He usually has a humanoid form with spider legs on his back, but can turn himself inside out and shapeshift into one of the UNTOLS.

Just got my next video done. Hope you enjoy it. Hopefully after this, I'll get to actual production of the game.



Also got a huge set of universe placements as well as their stories and roles within the crossover project, which should come soon.
