So long as we don't kidnap his daughter, frame him for a crime he didn't commit, or blockade Naboo, I think we'll be good.

I'm assuming we're not referring to his character in the Ponyo dub who was a terrible father who let his daughter go off on her own, flood Japan, and move in with a strange kid and his mother.

Neeson was Ponyo's dad for the English dub? Wow, that movie could have gone such a different direction.

How could it be anyone else? That voice is unmistakable.

Liam Neeson is the only Ulsterman I know of who could play an English Knight (1), a German (2), a Scotsman (3), an Irishman (4), a Frenchman (5), a Jedi (6), a Russian (7), multiple Americans (8), a Lion (9), some kind of water spirit (10), and a Greek god (11)...and use the same accent for every role.

1-Excalibur
2-Schindler's List
3-Rob Roy
4-Michael Collins
5-Les Miserables
6-Star Wars I
7-K-19
8-Kinsey, Gangs of New York, Taken
9-Chronicles of Narnia
10-Ponyo
11-Clash of the Titans remake

Yeah, I guess Ponyo would be problematic. The last thing the agency would want is for the girls to be obsessed with ham. I mean, that's ok when they're in the dining area, but out in the field? Also, the agency would have to redo their entire menu to add ham to every one of their dishes.

Ya know, as strange and ironic as it sounds, I just thought of something. The Agency would most likely ban Gunslinger Girl. Never mind that it could act like a tome that offers a glimpse into the future, and never mind that it could cause the girls to ponder their situation further. It's a series about an agency that takes in critically injured or chronically ill girls and turns them into skilled assassins who combat terrorism. Just think of the influence it could have on the girls. That, and the sad parts might be too much for a couple of them.
