Unfortunately Mediafire decided to be a big fat spoil-sport so I'm using an inferior service, but it's less, erm, *receptive* to certain requests and isn't likely to go around axing everything that might look like copyrighted.

Spoiler:: Well, in this chapter we finally get some confirmation people have been begging for... as well as reason for a certain hatedom to start celebrating...

Also, we have an announcement that the next issue will include a mini-figure of Henrietta and announcement that the other two figures of Triela and Rico will be available for mail-order, although it doesn't say when. It's listed as 10th anniversary celebrations for GSG (although the exact birthday won't be until November).

Spoiler:: I started to cry when it said that Henrietta was killed in action. Our sweet Henrietta really is gone. Being the main character didn't help her at all. ;_;

I'm REALLY ANGRY that we STILL don't know anything about Triela and Hilshire!!! >_< ... I mean... I know wants implied... but I just want it to be SAID!!! ;_______________________________;

I'm so happy Jean's alive. Rico's smile made me stop crying for a moment.

Spoiler:: Interesting reversal of roles for Jean & Rico. His oxygen mask even looks near identical to the one she was wearing in Chapter 86.

Handlers & staff are likely to keep jobs in the "New Look" Section Two but no mention is made of the cyborgs. Their fate still remains ambiguous.

And Petrushka's story takes another major twist.

There's still Christiano to deal with...haven't heard anything from him for a few chapters.

Spoiler:: There was said something about not to be able to hold a gun and that it's complex to create new limbs.

From what i read between these lines when they talked about Petra, it sounds like they're going to turn her into a "normal" human.

Plus they said something of reorganize the organisation.

Who knows, maybe it will ends in our "cyborg retirement" thread, maybe not, lets wait.

thanks for the translation entropy. While I would like to hold out hope that they are alive I am in agreemtn with the rest of you here that they are more than likely dead. I am really looking forward to seeing where teh Rico, Jean plot line goes given the latest chapter. Now I have a question for you guys do you think Yu is using this as a way to slowly end GSG or will he be using this to reinvent the storyline.

Well, the irony is that it appears the SWA might actually become what it pretended to be in the beginning: a medical and scientific research facility aimed at actually helping people. The current cyborgs would live more like Claes, and possibly get longer lifespans.

And after Petra and Sandro save the day at the nuclear plant, maybe she'll help cure cancer! Take that, haters!

In any case I think it will end within the next 2 or so chapters, possibly even with the next one (though the volume would be quite short in that case). If the girls are no longer using guns to kill the (relatively) bad guys, then it can't really continue as Gunslinger Girl.

Many of the early volumes were between five and six chapters and Volume 15 currently has five (including C95).

Volumes 13 and 14 were the largest at eight chapters each. I would imagine if he wanted to take the series to 100 chapters, we'd have heard an announcement of Volume 15 being announced with chapters 91-95, which would then allow Volume 16 to have 96-100. That we haven't leads me to believe that we're within one to three chapters of closing out the story and Volume 15 will be the final (as I don't see Dengeki Daioh doing a 10 chapter Volume 15 when they could do two 5 chapter volumes).

Thank you once again, Entropy. As soon as I read 95, I knew the boards would be lit up. How ironic, I think, that in the end Jose ended up with a tool stripped of personality and emotion, and Jean got the surrogate little sister.

Hilshire needed to be there to die with her so that Triela has both a father (Hilshire) and mother (Rachelle).

So, we get a gone rogue Jean/Rico, and MAYBE out-for-vengeance Triela (assuming the dream wasnt just a not yet). I could live with that... I guess... I just cant have both this AND Soul Eater ending on me right now, I don't have anything new to read, haha.

Also, it may make me sound callous, but I don't think any of the deaths that were/weren't confirmed in this chapter quite stack up to Angelica. Not that I liked the character more (well, more than Henrietta I suppose) its just that they seemed more, fitting, than a slow lingering death in a hospital. And Aida did a real good job of tearing at the heartstrings for that part. Either way, I cant wait for the next chapter, nor can I thank Entropy enough for translating for us all, haha.

Yeah, I think Chapter 80 made it clear Triela was going to die from the beginning, but Hilshire's yelling for Triela brought her back so they could die together and have last words with each other.

Angelica's was certainly sadder, but it seemed like Triela's was quite more profound in many ways, partially because of that. She was already starting to go and lose her memories, and she didn't want to end up not being able remember her life at the Agency, the only real life she had. Not only that, but she also basically took the hit for one of the other cyborgs, who would have gotten blown apart themselves had they gone first, something Triela would have chosen if given the option. Even though Hilshire wasn't there, she still felt like they were in spirit as she accounted her life in her final minutes through the guns... and when she thought it was all over, she gets brought back for a moment by the man who cared for her more than anyone else, who basically threw his life away to be with her in the end.

I also thought the panel with Marco in this latest chapter was more profound than spelling it out. No words needed to be said, and Marco's expression and embrace of Hilshire just seemed perfect.

Petrushka is a beautiful Russian cancer specialist who is blissfully unaware that her lecherous fiancé Sandro is hitting on nurses Soni, Gattonero, Fleccia, or the innocent Rico, not to mention every attractive female patient.

Rico is a nurse who is constantly roped into the mad schemes of patient Jean Croce (an aging veteran of Italy's terrorist wars) to murder his arch enemy Dante, a patient in the military custody ward, who needless to say is also trying to return the favour.

Marco is a half-blind friend of Jean's who provides light comic relief by bumping into nurse Soni, who also can't see properly due to that hair hanging over her eye.

Claes is a bedridden patient who observes everything that happens and provides deadpan snarker summation at the end of every chapter.

Hilshire and Triela are ghosts who have sworn to look out for their former comrades. Occasional angst is provided over how - due to their incorporeal state - Triela can never grow old enough to have sex with Hilshire. Mostly though they are the heroes of the story - foiling evil schemes or helping characters realise something important about themselves by knocking on walls, opening and closing doors at well-timed moments, and breathing cold air down the nurses' necks as they're about to smooch with Sandro. A running gag is that despite their constant efforts Hilshire and Triela are unable to convince Petrushka that her boyfriend is cheating on her.

Rival ward administrators Draghi and Lorenzo are always trying to discredit each other or launch grandiose schemes that will boost them in the eyes of their superiors, leading to chaos and wacky hijinks.

Bianchi, Belisario and Belgonzi are three doctors who argue over the best way to cure Claes while only making life more difficult for her. Every time they provide Claes with a new cyborg upgrade you can be sure it will lead to major structural damage to the ward or an embarrassing situation involving an attractive female patient. The three doctors are always being bullied, bribed or blackmailed into assisting the schemes of Dante and Jean to murder each other, Draghi and Lorenzo to sabotage each other projects, and Sandro to a) get into the nurses panties, b) get into an attractive female patient's panties, c) give the cyborg nurses bigger tits, d) turn every cyborg nurse into a bisexual orgy-loving nymphomaniac, or e) fix the air conditioning so these evil schemes won't be foiled by blasts of cold air at inopportune moments.

Hmm, let me think:

Emi would be one of those kids in hospitality care, which uses her freetime to sneak out and play piano instead of staying in her bed.
Unnecessary to say that nearly the entire hospital holds still and listens when she plays and sings.
Etienne of course is the father of Emi who visits his daughter in hospitality care nearly every day.

The SRT would be the hospital support staff. John would play a character not unlike Scrubs' Janitor - a scarred, brooding man who has a hidden soft spot for the children in the ward, and an overt loathing of one or two of the doctors in particular.

An occasional running gag would involve the staff slipping him various medications, altering his ascerbic personality in a variety of ways.

Jean Croce wakes up

Character design for the newly remodleed rico- the perves on the agency staff wanted to try a new design they called the Melani package in honor of Ferro's sister. Not that they ever told her that they liked their bits intact.

"Where am I, who am I, am I dead," The man thought as he slowly regained conscousness. The last thing he remembered was unimaginable pain and then relief as if his lifes work had been completed and yet he felt as if there was something he still needed to do. "If I could just remember what that was." The splashing of water roused the man from his thoughts as the feeeling of cold water and bright lighs crashed into him like a tidal wave.

"Gaah," the man shouted out shocking the rather well endowed blond kneeling over his naked form as he sat in a pool of tepid water

"Jean your awake," the woman cried out leaping into bath with him latching of for dear life.

"Murgle," was all Jean could make out as he entered marshmellow hell buried in the womans rather large assests. He managed to pull way before a lack of oxygen caused him to pass out again..

"Are you alright Jean," the woman asked as he pulled away.

'Who are you and where am I, and what the hell were you doing to me," the man who asumed he must be Jean shot back.

"I'm Rico," the woman replied with a frown. "Jean doesn't remember me." "In the hospital And i was giving you a sponge bath since you have been in a coma for 3 months."

The situation slowly sunk into the man as the water slowly soaked through the woman's blouse turning a racy sheer outlining her figure. Body parts long dormant burst to life as the woman's frantic arm movements ehanced the movement of certain body parts in a very itneresting manner.

"Are you ok are you still hurt. That;s never happened before I'll get the doctor," Rico exclaimed rushing out of the room.

"Doctor Bianchi, Jean is awake but I think he is still injured," Rico called out running up to the old man.

"Rico whats wrong," the good doctor asked.

"Well Jean woke up while I was giving him his daily sponge bath, and he doesn't remember anything but then he started swelling between his legs. That's never happened before you need to check him out." Rico explained.

"I wonder why... You lucky son of a bitch..." "I'm sure he is fine Rico but I'll take a look just to be sure," Bianchi replied. "Note to self get Ferro to explain the birds and the bees to her before Petra does.

I think this whole 'Pillowfight Girls' idea should have its own thread, maybe even a collaborative story. Not an RPG, though; I'd hate to see it wither away like that.
