That is one of the most unnerving avatars I've ever seen. I like the cut of your jib, missy; welcome to the club. Good

There are no silly questions here; we're a very hang-loose bunch, so don't be reluctant to ask.

We do have several RP sections, but they haven't been very active in a while. We sometimes RP in the chatbox (do stop by; it's fun) and in regular posts that aren't in the RP section.

also one last thing, since I do have a OC and would like to use her as such here. but i see when I edit my profile theres a "you character section" and says to generate the character sheet? but after I clicked generate it gave me "Could not generate the character sheet of this member, there is no field in this forum." what is this? do I have to post in the oc section as a topic for my char first and then Itll show up or is this some kind of error?

The character sheet function is not active.

Do feel free to post your OC in the Original Characters forum.

Welcome Deathly-Hallows, a pleasure to make you aquaintance. I look foward to hearing about (I'm assuming) little miss Marigold.

And the Professor is right, without silly questions, half this forum would disapear. And between you and me, it wouldn't be as much fun Razz.

Anyway, have fun, m'kay?

Fine, but after your sinister experiments, if she comes back a zombie and eats your brain, don't come crying to me.
And yes, I would like a submerine base, please don't give it to someone else .

Ok, one: it's a cold-war submarine base... I'm going to assume it's resonably zomie proof. Two: If you want the submarine base then I have to raise capital somehow; so stop putting people in a position where they won't have to give up their kidneys, elderly relatives, or anything else I can sell to earn a bit of petty cash.

If you're set on being all whingy about having to give up bodily organs for the greater good, then you can have the base on timeshare.

Timeshare? Timeshare?! TIMESHARE?! Never! You, sir, have insulted me!

And we can sell elderly relatives you say? I'll be right back, I gotta pick some merchandise .

Seriously though, if money is such an issue, why not join me. I'm sure I could give you an aprenticeship as my fellow international jewel thief.

OR

We could enlist in the navy and become premier submerine captains, then when the time is right, we steel a nuclear submerine with the new catipillar drive, after which tie the sub base to the back, and tow the base to a trpical island and live the rest of our lives in luxury. Yeah

By "the facts of life" do you mean "the talk", as in "sexual education"? We get taught that shit in school dude. And I have unmonitored internet on my computer while I am a teenager. Do you still think I have not of the brids and the bees? However, if you mean something else, then I'm stumped Puzzled

I ain't never touched the stuff. Seriously, I don't drink enrgey drinks. Here's a good example why:

I can stay up for 48 hours stright on nothing other than what I normally eat and drink plus a small glass of coke.

My friend who drank six energy drinks, and had gotten up at at least 10:00am that day, fell asleep while playing an xbox game no less than 21 hours later (7:00am, next day). He was doing that thing that old men and fathers do when they fall asleep but still claim "I was watching that".

That, sir, is why I don't have enrgy drinks. I drink tea instead, much healthier. Especially the herbal stuff the neighbors gave me after thier last trip to Amsterdam .

Then what's my mates excuse? He's a month younger than me! I'll admit, he's 6' 4" or something like that (I've never measuer him so that's a guess), as opposed to me who's 5' 10", but still.

And while I'm young, I'll continue to laugh at those who fall asleep on the couch, mwahahah!

I've lost count of the times I've fallen asleep at the wheel in my driveway at the end of the workday, the keys in my hand... Old as dirt. Laugh all you like, I do.

Oh yeah, several times. Hell, when I was in the Corps, I could fall asleep in formation, and wake up when they called "BATTERY, ATTEN-HUT!" *grins*

Happy to have another Gunslinger Girl afflictionado join the fight to help Yu Aida and his merry band of fratellos rid the world of Padania und the Five Republics, etc!
Speaking of joining the fight, Professor Voodoo has a cool collaborative tale named "Hunters in the Dolomites" that we are in the process of writing. Maybe Marigold can offer her services in the picturesque country side?

In my movie history class I learned how to fall asleep with my head raised so my teacher, who sat behind me, thought I was watching the boring silent movie the whole time. Muh-m-muhahahaha!

Aww hell, that's a core skill everyone learns in Basic Training.

Mercedes: 16th Century cabinet making? Well, at least it isn't 15th Century grass growing, or 20th Century paint drying filmed with a high speed camera.

Second that. If you don't have a submission in yet (not likely), the project is just firing up; you have scads of time. Maybe you want to look over the planning thread and see what the Professor posts on FFnet for a first installment to give you a direction.

We're talking about a collaborative story, several authors contributing scenes along a general framework established by an editor - in this case, Professor Voodoo. There's a planning thread in the 'Collaborative Stories' section with settings and background and such. Authors on this site generally post their work on Fanfiction.net, which is, I believe, the largest fanfiction archive in the world.

I well remember back when I was doing the Cadets thing one bloke who didn't learn that skill. Turned the flight to march off and he was still snoozing there facing front.

Charon, are we talking USMC or 'The Corps' of Texas A&M?

USMC, specifically Kilo Battery, 4th Batallion, 14th Marines. Spent the least amount of time there than anywhere else in my short career, but that's the unit that made me feel most at home, you know?
