Jamie: So, what is today's myth?

Adam: Today's myth is to find out how much love and loyalty one can get through the conditioning drug.

Jamie: Well, how are we going to do this one? Interview the cyborgs?

I like it. Request for fully fledged Mythbusters fic, thirded.

Someone should try the chinese astonomer thing . You could lump it with fining out of the girls can stand back up after a huge explosion like a Cyberdyne 101 with all their flesh burned off to show their metal endoskeleton or something.

That would not work, Sasahara...
Why? They are still people- blood and flesh under all that techology. Given an explosion and fireball, all that flesh would burn off, killing them.

But you know Adam and Jamie. They'd try for the sake of trying anyway. Strap poor unsuspecting Rico (Claes is already roadkill right) to a tanker loaded with gas and the blow it all sky high. Then they'll look at the smoldering mix of twisted metal and charred flesh...

Hm, she's not coming out...

Hm, it just occured to me. Since this thread started off as a 'who's good enogth to be a cyborg buster' thread, doesd this mean that Adam and Jamie would be a cyborg's ultimate nightmare?

Who poor Petra as Buster though? I thought she was physically weaker than the Gen 1s? Whouln't that defeat the puropse of testing the true limits of their physical capabilities?

Unless of course, you put her supposed 'superior inflitation' skills to the test. Remember that myth about the Teminator being detectable by dogs? I wonder if the SWA's 'inflitation cyborg' can bluff her way through horde of baying bloodhounds....

Speaking of bloodhounds... I just read Black Lagoon Vol 6. Fabiola gave my GSG vibes for some reason. She was short, really kicked ass, and WTF pump action grenade launcher.

With that in mind, hereís my idea for Petraís test. Tory and Grant are given secrets and itís up to Petra to get it out of them. She will be sequestered with each of them for one hour in a motel room and in that time she must use all the skills Sandro has taught her to make them cum clean.

Oh Iím sorry, I meant come clean.

Oh ho! I dare anybody on this board to write the full script for solving that perticular myth.

Just occured to me, that bloodhound myth might go terribly wrong if Biccie, or any other first gen, were involved. I can just imagine a pack of them taking off after her, then being torn to pieces by the said cyborg in 'self-defence'. Oh well, Myth proved.

Biccie can't sneak past a pack of hounds, but she can sure tear them apart with her bare hands.

hehehhe...!!

Alright!

But Petra is ...busted right? Oh well...

Tory: So what do we got now?

Grant: Well, there's this myth that says cyborgs could sneak up on a pack of Labradors, get to safety, and never get caught unscathed.

Kary: You mean the best of cyborg infiltrators?

Grant: Yeah!

Tony: So how are we gonna' test this one?

Kary: Well, we first create an enclosed complex. In the center of it is a map of the area required to escape the whole field. We stuffed the whole area with hungry Labradors (to be sure they'd scent her) and see if she can escape.

Tory: Cool.

Grant: Good enough. Lets get to it

(So the team created a miniature 'stealth complex' with corners primed with cameras and dogs unleashed. For once, Tory was glad he was not the test subject)

Tory: Those dogs look nasty...looked like franken-dogs from hell...

Grant: Alright, Beatrice you're ready?

Beatrice: ...*nod*

(Narrator: So Beatrice begun her super-sleuth mythbusting attempt to sneak past the hungry guard dogs and reach to the center in safety. Grant unleashes the dog, and the game begins...)

Grant: ...turn right Beatrice, turn right...

Tory: Avoid the dogs!

*Beatrice video feed (BVF): I smell...dirty dogs...

Kary: Wow! Such ability!

(Narrator: So Beatrice was capable reaching the center in safety! Now its up to her to find the exit using the map, and confirm the myth)

*BFV: ...I can't read maps...

-minutes later-

Tory: She's been wondering the whole complex not knowing where she originally came from...

Grant: The dog's getting freaky too...

Kary: I think one of them finds her...

Grant: *checks* No! There's FIVE of them!

*BFV: ...dogs...lots of them...a bit too many

=censored for extreme gore=

Tory: ...maaan that's a close one!

Grant: Beatrice really did pulled it off...

Kary: ...till the end. Plausible?

Grant: Plausible.

Tory: Plausible.

Biccie is the first GSG to survive a Mythbusting skit on this thread. She probably won't be the last.

...How about they test the myth cyborgs can't float? I think Biccie knows how to dog paddle from one of the fics, but I'm not sure about the other girls.

Adam; Today we're testing the myth that cyborgs can't float.

Jamie; Hm, but hasn't the SWA mission records already had one instance where one of their cyborgs almost drowned?

Adam; True. But to be completely sure, we should expand the test sample...

*pushes Petra and Beatrice into the ocean*.

*Watches Biccie doggie paddle to safety*

Jamie; What do you say Adam, Busted?

Adam; Busted.

*notices Petra hasn't come back up yet*

Adam; ...or not.

She might still be alive y'know, with enhanced lungs and 'special training' (just some wierd stories my older family members occationally send into my e-mail) and all.

Might be stuck at the bottom of the dock with all the fishes, struggling to hold her breath and get back to the surface... If the tide is low enougth she might just make it.

Is she somehow clambers up a weighed anchor or something I bet her near death experience at the bottom of the sea (plus halucinations from oxygen deprevation) may put her life back in perspective for her.

Unfortunately, that was exactly what I was talking about. My dirty mind is a direct consequence of all the mail my dad and uncle like sending me.

Some parents and children like shielding their kids for as long as they can. I get dumb blond jokes every half day from my relatives.

Oh well.

Perta's 'training' will probably save her life. She's probably going to see it in a whole new light now.

Or a 20mm anti-material rifle.
Or a computer and three disused Soviet satellites.
Or a thoroughly depressing and lonely personality.

I propose adding Alice Margatoid (with all her personality characteristics transplanted into a human body); she's so lonely and obsessive that she'd cause quite a but of mental trauma to the girls and that would produce a terrible BAD END. Plus she's a doll nerd, so it'd be entertaining.

...But accessing Jigoku Tsushin means you're digging your own grave as well...

...I'd rather destroy them mentally and make them turn on each other. House is a good candidate for that, then there's Makoto (he won't survive, but he did it), and maybe...

...how about another human girl who can kill them with ease? What about *gasp* Kotonoha?

Kotonoha: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHE *hysterical, maniacal laugh*

Adam: ...now we're bringing her into the field?

Jamie: Well, there's a myth that Cyborgs can withstand multiple hits from sharp objects and survive

Adam: But she's a girl!

Jamie: Oh, wait. *shoves Kotonoha into the chamber* Kotonoha, the girls inside were some of Makoto's girls. They say they're pregnant; care to prove it?

Adam: ...she won't buy that...

Kotonoha: With pleasure! *rushes*

Adam: ...that...was freaky...

Jamie: Well, you never know. Watch from safety distance, you don't want to get involved.

*inside*

Triela: ...haaa...now they told us to wait here...

Henrietta: Giusseppe...(my love, my love, my endless love~)

Triela: Stop singing...

Rico: PARADINGDING-PARAPARADINGDING

Triela: What now? Crazy frog?

Petrushka: ...*rubs*...Sandro...

Triela: Not you and your perverted minds!

*footsteps*

Triela: ...hear that?

girls: *pause*

Triela: I heard something...

Kotonaha: Allow me to prove it!!

=Censored for Extreme Gore=

OMG I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. First: Gordon 'Fucking' Freeman. A.K.A. Anti-Citizen One A.K.A. The Last Freeman A.K.A. Bad Ass Mother Fucker

With nothing more then a PhD with barely dry ink, a hazardous environment suit, and a crow bar the man escaped the black mesa incident. With his gravity gun, and his crowbar the girls stand no chance.

Now this one would be interesting: AltaÔr ibn La-Ahad. I dare say he would be like Pino. Only cooler, and potentially more lethal. If unaccustomed to firearms...

School Days, creating more examples of the worst the human race has to offer.

Gordon Freeman, yeah he'd do it. I'd love to see him take on all of the cyborgs staring with nothing but his cowbar (fear the cowbar!). Aliens, giant weapons and zombies aren't a problem for him, so a little cyborg will be kind of a joke. He's an MIT graduate on top of all that, although it doesn't really show that much in the games (flipping that switch and all).

What about the people he hands out with though? Barney pretty tough for a security guard. What happened to Adrian Sheppard though?

A House/Gunslinger Girl crossover would be nice (funnily enough, Elsa and House are so very alike, and I consider Robert Sean Leonard an ideal candidate to play Dr. Bianchi in Gunslinger Girl: Live!) - by 'crossover', I don't mean a humor/parody fic where House picks the girls apart for cruelty's sake. I'm talking something serious, meaningful and possibly touching. And for all his caustic behavior, I think House is essentially a good person deep down inside, much like Elsa.

Hmm. Maybe it's time I put my medical knowledge to good use.

As for Kotonoha, I imagine that the girls would demolish her with their bare hands as soon as she got within range.

Just occured to me, how would Hannibal Lecter fare against the girls? He might just decide that cyborg flesh, or at least the edible parts, are now a delicacy. I'd imagine it'll be more of a game of wits than a test of brawn in that case.

Elsa and House are similar? Never thought of that...

I'm surprised you didn't, man...

Did I mention how I also contemplate David Morse as Enzo? Well, you have it now.

Lecter going up against the girls would be interesting, although I don't see him going out of his way to consume them or anything similar. He typically does that only to people who piss him off - people he views as being petty, uncouth and similar to the brutes who killed his sister. Any acts of violence against the girls would probably be akin to that episode with Boyle and Pembry from the second film - brutal acts of survival.

Elsa and House is similar? 0.o

Never thought of that...well, he is rather mysterious, and she is rather mysterious as well; they're both unique in some way...

As for Kotonoha, I imagine that the girls would demolish her with their bare hands as soon as she got within range.

O RLY? I think differently--she's armed (Kotonoha), they're not.

Say for example vs...Triela.

Kotonoha runs close, blade drawn. Triela tries to give a knocking punch right on the face.

Similar to Sekai's end, Kotonoha stops Triela's hand not forcefully, but by redirecting it. Then up the neck, and checkmate.

Maybe Triela did survived the first blow and sends Kotonoha away, but the next few minutes she'll die with her neck severed like that...

Adam: Crowbar versus cyborgs. Who do you think will win?

Jamie: Crowbar--hand's down.

Adam: Crowbar...? Well, there's this myth that Cyborg Central brought up that Crowbar can win against Cyborgs, but with you believing it, I have to wonder...'why'?

Jamie: Well, if Gordon Freeman's the one who wields it, then there's no doubt the crowbar wins.

Adam: Ok...do we need to test this myth?

Jamie: Uuh...I think we can't because...we're run out of 'test subjects'--the girls need to be taken home for...attention.

Adam: ooh...

Jamie: Well Adam I have to say that was a lot of fun testing those various Cyborg myths.

Adam: Yeah we learned a lot about those little Gunslinger Girls. While they are definitely capable of more then just ordinary humans they still have their limits.

Jamie: Right, like falling off buildings, or out running a truck.

Adam: Exactly. Well I think that about wraps things up for this epi...

Triela: Just a minute! Your not done yet! [Camera whirls around to Triela. A cast covers everything from her ankles to her hips. She is setting the brakes to her wheel chair, a shotgun in her lap]

Jamie: Oh Triela, ahhh.... Can I sign your cast?

Adam: [Slowly backing away the man bumps into something. He whirls around to see Angelica. Her arm in a sling, and several sticks showing through a shaved line on her head.] Oh sorry didn't see you there.

Angelica: [Glares, as she draws a knife]

Adam: Errr.... What is the knife for?

Henrietta: [Walks in with several bandages, and bruises clearly visible around her body. Her right arm hangs by her side gripping a pistol] You took such good care of us on your show...

Triela: [grinning] We wanted to make sure we got a chance to say goodbye before we had to leave. [hefts the shotgun up.]

Jamie: [backing up slowly until he's back to back with adam] Well that's nice of you...

Rico: [walks in carrying petra in a full body cast carefully standing her up against a shelf, before turning to the two mythbusters. Slipping brass knuckles onto her right hand she smiles]

Jamie: [leaps to the wall trying to climb up the various boxes, and drawers] RUN FOR IT!

*BANG!*

Jamie: [collapses to the ground holding a bloody knee]

Triela: Don't kill them! [pumps shotgun] yet...

Adam: mommy

I too think there should be a fanfic. But like Panzer said, it's here on this page. Maybe we should relocte this to another thread, then leave it open where anyone can add snippets to to when they feel sadistic.

Ryu from D.O.A. and Ninja Gaiden?

How about Suzaku Kurugi? That crazy S.O.B. can run up a wall and charge a machine gun head on. I swear, the man ain't human...

No, we aren't letting Spinzaku into this!

Plot armour only works within the confines of the originating series anyway.

Girl on Girl action with Kurenai... cool. Lets see how cyborg assassins will deal with some really hard core ninjas. Possible catfight is a plus.

Spinzaku? WTF? When did he get that nickname?

Agent 47 will be an interesting one. I've never played the Hitman games before, but a close friend of mine said that he's good. Very good.

As for another candidate, Ayasaki Hayate *runs away laughing*.

Spinzaku got the name "Spinzaku" from the first episode of season 2 for his spinning flying kick.

Ayasaki Hayate doesn't count, he's a Gundam for goodness' sake!

Ah, that infamous flying spin kick. There are more parodies of that than there are of Star Wars. Name deserved indeed.

Hayate is a Gundam?! Should I move Hayate to the other thread then?

Has Xander Harris been mentioned yet? I don't know, but even though he seems like the type to get quashed like a bug, he hangs with the Slayer, a Witch, several vampires and has bedded a demon. That has got to count for something.

It is mentioned multiple times that Hayate is surely a Gundam because of the things he can do. Best if you went with the inhuman because he certainly is as strong and enduring as the girls.

Hayate is now over in the other thread. In his place, I elect King Leonidas from Sparta. I know his majesty's weapons are a little behind the times... but this is Leonidas! He and 300 men kicked more ass in one movie than the GSGs did in all of season 1!

... I'll be funny if Triela turns out to be a desandant of this legendary figure, especially when we still have no idea where she's come from.
