'Justice Served' was awesome. The shotgun trap reminded me of the movie Saw

Ya got me there, man - the 'shotgun trap' sequence was, indeed, a tribute to Saw. It's one of my favorite horror movies - perhaps Nightfall and Sundown were fans, too. And as for Cosette - despite her innocent looks, that girl is probably one of the most evil characters I've ever created. You'll find out when I get down to proceeding with 'Iceberg'.

When I first read that part, I subconsciously noticed there was something familiar about it, but I shrugged it off. Reading a bit more I found that the atmopshere of the scene was really familiar but I couldn't quite nail it. Then I realised, it was like Saw!

Hey Nacht, by any chance haw you seen the 'We Will Rock You!' musical? I had serious vibes along the lines of that when I was reading you fic.

Must be Queen.

I've never seen it before, Sasahara, although it certainly does sound interesting - my experience watching musicals is pretty much limited to stuff from Cameron Mackintosh. The performance I had playing in my mind throughout was actually the gig Queen did during Live Aid '84 - that influence showed all the way down to how Triela's teddy was dressed.

And yeah, that was, indeed, a Transformers reference. I'm a nut for Transformers, specifically Decepticons and particularly for those of the G1 era - Michael Bay totally screwed things up with the latest movie, although it did have one or two 'saving grace' moments, among them being the scene I copied. At least the current Animated series is compensating for the right royal bummer of 2007. Go Lugnut and Blitzwing!

Just in case you missed it - Claes' final line is a plug for Monty Python's 'Archeology Today' sketch. Hilarious one, that - you should go check it out on YouTube or similar.

Don't smoke anymore, pal, and the only drug I ever did was acid - I was a recreational user of both, at best. All you see in my fics are the pure, unadulterated workings of my twisted mind. People always told me I had a knack for music.

Beatrice as a pothead is something I've been wanting to do for a very long time - I eventually decided to make her a Rasta, as well ('smokes like a Rasta'). It's not really Bernado who's responsible, though - he doesn't know anything. Yet. Blame her wanting to immerse herself completely in the Rastafari way of life. But yeah - you could argue that being put on too many drug-sniffing jobs may have lured over to the dark side...
